Two mobile 12U high racks have been produced to provide a flexible solution to the needs of the client. The racks are to be used for various events but primarily for aerobics classes, which can be held in any of the following areas: the Squash Court; Main Sports Hall; Swimming Pool and School Hall . Two Phonic SEM715 15" full range loudspeakers are fitted into each area with the exception of the Squash Court in which two SEM712 12" full range loudspeakers are fitted. Each area has a wall mounted stage box to interface with the rack. Either of the two racks may then be plugged into any of the stage boxes to provide a powerful PA system in that area. Each rack contains a Denon DNT625 combined CD / tape player and a Shure PGX radio microphone receiver. These are mixed using a Phonic MU802 compact mixer before being fed into a QSC Audio RMX850 amplifier. A 2U drawer unit has been included in the racks to provide storage for the microphones, interface cables, CDs annd tapes. The rear of the racks provide connections for power, loudspeakers, and an override control signal. The later connection allows the racks to be muted should the main site PA system broadcast to the area.

After the event the racks can simply be disconnected from the stagebox and wheeled away for storage.
