Networked Audio Systems

Public address systems have historically been interconnected using telephony standards which resulted in poor audio quality due to the restricted bandwidth of the telephone network. Now with the advent of TCP/IP we can transmit multiple simultaneous channels of very high quality audio and with full system control over data networks with relative ease.

There are now many products on the market but we find that just two products provide the perfect solution 99% of the time.

TOA's NX100 network adaptor for the simpler systems
or
QSC Audio's CobraNet units for systems which require a more feature rich solution

For applications where transmission of audio is not required we can provide system control via Ethernet using QSC Audio's DSP 322 unit. This provides all the control functionality of the RAVE or BASIS units but without a CobraNet port.

Please contact us if you require further information.
