DSP Systems
At the heart of our Digital Signal Processor (or DSP) systems is QSC Audio's DSP 322ua or RAVE 722az DSPs programmed with our own configuration. Both types of DSP unit may be pre-configured (i.e. set on commissioning) or adjusted at any time using QSControl.net. This is QSC Audio's name for their software interface. By connection to a 10Mb Ethernet network the units may be controlled via a PC running Venue Manager or a group of PC's when the 'venue' is run on a server. Our standard configuration provides the following features: l
One
high priority input which may be zoned at
installation
or from our
graphical user interface We can provide customised configurations tailored to suit your requirements. Amplification is provided by QSC Audio's CX range of multi-channel power amplifiers in the following options: l
1
x CX108V 8 x 100W channels When using the RAVE 722az digital signal processor the amplifiers are interfaced by QSC's dataport connection. This data interface allows extensive amplifier status information to be reviewed on one of our standard GUI screens. Access to the GUI control is via username and password entry, this allows multiple users and levels of secure access to be implemented. We can also customise the controls available too. Read about our largest DSP system to date which was installed at Princess Yachts or call now to book a free demonstatration. NEWS: We are investigating the use of touch screens and small format, low power PC's to provide the basis for a range of touch screen controllers and microphones to be used inconjuction with our DSP & networked audio systems. |
